Attitude of Gratitude

In the Lead4Change lessons, we teach that recognition and appreciation are some of the most valuable tools of a leader. This week we want to pause and simply say THANK YOU to every educator across this land. We hope you will take a few minutes to see how we value you!

  • Thank you for showing up and caring about every student.

  • Thank you for sharing your story to encourage and inspire others.

  • Thank you for sharing your vulnerability and uncertainty so others can encourage you.

  • Thank you for being flexible and resilient as you uncover new ways to connect and teach.

  • Thank you for going online, venturing into homes (virtually) and opening your home (via your video background) to be real and transparent and connected to students.

  • Thank you for creating new lesson plans, new expectations and new ways to complete the requirements of your classes.

  • Thank you for the 1-on-1 time you are spending with students and parents.

  • Thank you for pushing past the hype, the confusion, the lack of clarity on the goal for this year -- to be present, available and consistent with your students.

  • Thank you to those who have provided clarity, solutions, direction and a positive path forward for their class, school or district.

  • Thank you for giving students a place and a way to feel connected to their association chapter, their club, their special interests, in addition to their core classes.

  • Thank you for your extra work, sleepless nights, timeless connections and pure passion for your work and your students.

  • Thank you for encouraging each other - and inspiring us with your questions, ideas and stories.

This year is one for the history books. You ARE the leaders of change. We are inspired by you and grateful for you.
