Literacy Standards Alignment

Did you know that the Lead4Change lessons are fully aligned with Literacy Standards?

It is important that literacy be incorporated into all learning - and our lessons are aligned the the NCTE/ILA standards. You can find the Literacy Alignment Guide in Member Resources or download a copy of the
6-lesson track alignment or the 12-lesson track alignment.

The Lead4Change team will also be exhibiting at the NCTE conference this week. Will we see you there?

Come by our booth for more information! We would love to meet you.

Lead4Change is Active in Kentucky

Are you a Kentucky educator teaching Lead4Change?

You are one of nearly 400 Kentucky educators working with Lead4Change this year! From the Department of Education to the classroom, the Lead4Change Student Leadership Program is a top priority for developing students into leaders.

In fact, at Jefferson County Public Schools, Lead4Change is part of the
Backpack of Success Skills. What an important tool for student success!!

Perhaps you’ve heard of Lead4Change but never started.

Reach out to Principal
Ken Moeller or Assistant Principal Dr. Carla Kent for some quick tips.  Ken and Carla serve on our Educator Advisory Board and would love to connect with you.

We know that Kentuckians love to win the race! We’ve had many Kentucky student teams win the Lead4Change Challenge. See one sample of the news coverage here. We can’t wait to see what your students do this year!

We Are Thankful

As we take a break for Thanksgiving, we are thankful for so many things. Here are a few of the things on our Thankful-Grateful List:

> Teachers who care about equipping teens with life skills for success

> Administrators who are brave enough to implement new programs

> Counselors who advocate for the best social emotional skills resources

> Our program donor, Lift a Life Novak Family Foundation, who funds Lead4Change and other life-changing programs to build leaders at every age.

> Our Foundation for Impact on Literacy and Learning team of educators and category experts, who create, design and implement resources and programming for educators

It is our goal to Engage - Inspire - and Equip you with free resources that are proven, easy to use and fun!

We hope you enjoy some time off next week.  We will see you back here in December.
